Remember these pups are of different ages and stages of development some are more babyish , some are mature and have thier big ears allready,while others are just infants, chihuahuas dont start life with those famous big ears , they come a little bit later . Hes Struts like a Little Rooster, (except when you dress him up) He is a tiny guy with a big attitude, Loves to meet new people and will get into your lap and take his nap, He is very pampered, and loves to go out with his family,LOves sneaking in to movies Always checks in on new pups Although some moms Dont exactly like it .He is a character , you cant help but love him. He is very tiny and very agile, loves chinese roasted pork ., chicken , and girls!!!!!!

This photo reminds me of my Dear late grandfather George, as this was the same look he gave when my grandmother scolded him for being rude at the dinnertable.

this is the brides baby who went home after 14 weeks as seen in the photo she was super tiny this is right before she went home We do not send young pups home each one is judged individually if a pup is super tin he or she may not go home until it reache 4-5 months of age,

The Amazing

A Lesson in Longhaired ! Chihuahuas are one breed, however the breed varies in color and coat and size as well as head shape and body type. There is longhaired and short, Longhaired shed Less (which isnt much ) than shorthaired. In the longcoat, there are different stages we breeders call "going through the uglies", I will show My dog Amber during this stage as an examplebelow ,(So that you can seethe progression) She was not sold right away , as she looked... well (not longcoated) . I knew she was a beauty so I kept her. This is Amber before and after, You may not have the full longcoat until after 1 year, some are heavier coats than others, I as a breeder can tell you what coat the pup will have. However, If the pup is going through this teething age ...pre-puberty stage, the coat will not look at its fullest and mature state. Amber as adiult and in portrait , ..and Amber as she looked for sale, on this site . a few years back. See her coat at these stages are very different .Remember longcoats do not shed,

Amber as a pup and as we saw her here on the site, as an adult , Believe it or not she was rejected by a client for not having long enough hair(they didnt believe me) Look how gorgeous she turned out!

Please Note : Some of the pups pictured below are photographed in teacups . According to the chihuahua standards ,there is no such description ; however, many people refer to teacups as the smallest size.Teacups range in adult wt from 2-4lbs , Toy from 4-6 are within standard for the breed and some go over, (these are best for older kids and I do not recommend teacups to kid families at all as the children may scare or injure the dog unintentionally , or a frightened dog can nip a small child in self defense )

This is how I describe my pups using the method explained above , ( one that is used by many breeders and chi enthuesiasts).The fact that they are photographed in teacups ,is simply for a cute photo and also to show relative size as the cup I use is about the diameter of the bottom of a 2 liter bottle of soda . It is in no way meant to imply adult size .But I will guestimate adult size based on 29+ years of experience with animals as i have found the charts to be greatly off ,due to body fat etc, affecting weight of babies. So please enjoy the photos and take them as they are meant.... , a beautiful way to show our puppies ,of which we are very proud. We have put alot of work time and love into them ,So scroll down and enjoy........

Emily Helps to love and socialize our pups We call her Auntie Em sometimes, She is loving and gentle with the babies it is amazing to watch her nurture them The pups love her so much !

EMILY at the drive through in HAines city Florida 4/ 28 /09 with her sweet tea . I know shes looking at the server thinking " but wheres my fruit walnut salad ? "

Always soo careful and gentle with the babies She actually holds the newborns while i deliver the siblings . She kisses them and tells them she loves them and pets them gentty on the head with her little black hairy fingers .
